Political Issue Facing Indonesia President Election

By following political issue and some statement from politician on facing president general election on 2019. Every campaign team from Jokowi and Prabowo try to maintain the voter and search it. Now is in campaign section when the both presidents candidate showing their wisdom up to public.

But in this issue, society faced on religious issue where the issue separates society in two paradigms. First paradigm is Islamic understanding based on Nahdatul Ulama (NU) as a organizations recognized by government. As the association of religion, NU has historical politic in the struggle for independence for Indonesia, since 31 Januari 1926, NU has had struggled independence and to formulate ideology of Pancasila.

Exactly, every NU movement, we always finding “Mempertahankan NKRI” theme. Than absolutely, NU movement sounds like very nationality, and public always hearing “Islam Nusantara”. A biggest topic that should be explained by NU members and should be understand by public, what does it mean “Islam Nusantara”.

May be this explanation little bit helpfully to public for understanding of “Islam Nusantara” it self, Islam is a religion given from Muhammad SAW Prophet by Allah, and than spread to the world to every country including Indonesia. But every technique of separation is different way. In Indonesia has unique technique very base on public culture at that time. But essential of Islam is same as religion “Rahmatan Lil Alamin”.

The simple analogy that we can use, like to put water in some container or spot, if the spot is different but the water still authentic. This basic understanding must be understood by the public. Hopelessly, Islamic as a religion, not to be object political interest that can separate public paradigm and to be some threat to Indonesian nationality.

In political issue, similar with putting the NU as a nationality movement and the other islamic association like FPI or HTI are the radical movement that changing goverment system of Indonesia.

This issue can be influenced to political interest and influencing the voter. The voter will vote who is nationality candidate or not. The paradigm that showing up to the public as like “ideology war” or “Islamic war”.

In the 16 century the world ever occur war of the ideology, in international politic saying it is “World War” where the biggest ideology ever influence the country. The center of that ideology has professed by Uni Soviet (Communist and Socialist) and United State (Liberalism and Capitalist). Every power try to make the ideology to be accepted in another country. And became the greatest ideology for applied to ideology nation and state and economic system.

On the top is only simple analogy to explaining how the political issue Indonesia to building the power. Which Islamic sustainable for Indonesia without understanding radical ideology. We as the voter have to selective and knowing a main idea from every president candidate. And hopelessly, the president candidate and team success running the agenda politic be rationality and realistic. Keep the nationality interest and improving the program more, inventively, effectively and measurable.
